Playing the harmonica was a lot harder than I ever imagined it would be. I had always heard it was one of the easiest instruments to play. This was why I chose it (well that and it was the only instrument I could afford at the time). I struggled greatly, if you remember all of the blogs about my frustration and practice just to play a single, clear note. But, I was able to accomplish this fairly well. I still slip up and play two notes at once often enough to ruin a song, but at least I now have the theory. I just need to continue to word towards the practice. I made great strides throughout this semester and I am proud of the work I did to learn the basics of harmonica playing. I still have so much left but at least I am off to a good start. The chances of me booking any performances anytime soon is probably slim to none, but I now know what I need to practice and, more importantly, where I can go to get resources to help me practice.
I guess what I would like to say the most is, I hope you have enjoyed listening to the snippets of songs and hearing about my journey of learning to play the harmonica. It has been a great experience to share it with y'all! Thank you to those of you who left comments encouraging me and helping me. That has meant a lot to hear stories of your similar frustrations or things people said to you to help you do better. So, as they say in show-biz "That's a wrap!"
